Bakery, pastry shop and café

Konditorn & Bagarn (in english: Pastry cook and Baker) is a small and genuine sourdough bakery that opened in march 2015. This little cozy place breathe knowledge, ambition and lots of flavour. Everything is made by hand and without shortcuts. The stone oven gives the bread a special character.

Except for bread you can enjoy traditional Swedish fika, several breakfast alternatives, a small lunch and good coffee and tea from a local roasting house. You can also buy lovely packages of müsli, crisp bread, lemonade and much more.

The bakery is a dream that came true for the pastry cook Cajsa, that today is the single owner. By her side, she has talented bakers and colleagues in the café.

The historical suburb hökarängen

You find Konditorn & Bagarn in Hökarängen, also called Hökis, a suburb in Stockholm. Get here easily with the green metro line towards Farsta Strand. Like in many other capitals, the suburb areas are starting to come more alive with shops, restaurants and other nice places to experience. Except visiting the sourdough bakery and café Konditorn & Bagarn, don’t miss our local beer brewery ”Pang Pang”, nice artsy shops like Växterian and several restaurants.

Hökarängen was one of the first suburbs to be built outside Stockholm after World War II. Most of the buildings are from 1940-1950’s. Don’t miss out on a walk down Sweden’s first pedestrian shopping street that was built in 1949. The city has re-created many of the classic neon signs on the shops.
